At Swickard Auto Group, we’re transforming the automotive retail experience through unreasonable hospitality. With a portfolio of luxury, domestic, and import brands across multiple states, we treat every interaction as an opportunity to deliver comfort, convenience, and confidence.

We’re a hospitality company that happens to sell cars — and we’re looking for a Pre-Owned Disposition Specialist who shares that same mindset.

Key Responsibilities

As the Pre-Owned Disposition Specialist, you’ll be the bridge between our retail stores and the wholesale market — ensuring that every pre-owned vehicle finds the right next home while maximizing returns for the group.

Your impact will include:

  • Vehicle Valuation: Analyze wholesale and retail market data to price trade-ins and aged units accurately.
  • Disposition Strategy: Manage the lifecycle of pre-owned inventory, identifying vehicles for retail, wholesale, or auction.
  • Auction Management: Coordinate transportation, reconditioning, and listing of vehicles through approved auction channels.
  • Vendor Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with auction partners, wholesalers, and transport vendors.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track KPIs such as turn rate, gross per vehicle, and aging metrics to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Collaboration: Partner with dealership General Managers and Used Car Managers to align disposition decisions with group strategy.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in automotive remarketing, inventory management, or used car operations.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle valuation tools (e.g., vAuto, MMR, ACV, TradePending).
  • Proven ability to analyze data and make profit-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary + performance incentives
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Employee discounts on vehicles and service
  • Professional development and advancement opportunities
