Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced, creative, and organized Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As the second-in-command in the kitchen, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, manage line staff, ensure food quality, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

What Will You Do?
Assist the Executive Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations
Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff, including line cooks and prep team
Ensure food is prepared and presented to high standards of quality and consistency
Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Train and mentor kitchen staff to promote growth and maintain team morale
Monitor portion control, food cost, and waste reduction efforts
Step in and lead the kitchen during the Executive Chef’s absence
Help create new menu items and specials in collaboration with the Executive Chef
What You Bring?
Proven experience as a Sous Chef, or significant line cook experience in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and safety standards
Leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team
Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
Culinary degree or formal training is a plus
Valid Serve Safe Manager certification
Previous experience working in a kitchen supervisor role.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Salary Range:
$65,000 -$72,000
