Description

This role is within Fello’s Self-Directed Services department where we contract with the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) as a Financial Management and Counseling Services (FMCS) provider. In this Medicaid program, participants are the Employer of Record and hire their own workers and choose their services, while Fello handles all administrative tasks including payroll and bill payment. 

 

The Senior Stakeholder Relations Specialist provides administrative and customer service support focused on escalated participant or their team members inquiries related to Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Financial Reporting processing.  The Senior Stakeholder Relations Specialist will collaborate across the team to promote the most efficient and effective resolution strategies across all Self-Directed Services processes. This position will be cross trained in all Self-Directed Services processes. 

Qualifications


The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in customer service and financial operations, including hands-on experience in accounts payable and financial reporting. They are detail-oriented, organized, and confident managing complex inquiries while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach. The ability to communicate clearly—especially in challenging or escalated situations—is essential. This candidate is flexible, solutions-driven, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across multiple teams to ensure high-quality, timely support to stakeholders. A willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and financial platforms like Paycom or bill.com are key. 

 

This position requires a high school diploma or GED, with a bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in customer service for finance-related topics, including financial reporting and accounts payable, is required.
