Building Automation / Direct Digital Controls Engineer presso Enttec Services, Inc.

Description

As a member of the ENTEC Engineering Team, you will provide engineering support of the sales and implementation of Building Automation and Energy projects throughout the organization. This position will provide support when needed at all levels of the project process, including the initial sales cycle, overall design, installation planning, and project closeout.

This in-person role consists of a mix of office and field-based work, depending on the project needs. Typical work hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, but may vary in order to meet client and project schedules.

Job duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Utilizing project documents (plans, specifications, other equipment submittals, etc.) to complete the following:
  • Selecting appropriate controls parts to meet project requirements (both technical and budgetary)
  • Providing clear installation and wiring instructions for controls parts and associated HVAC equipment
  • Developing appropriate sequences of operation for controlled equipment
  • Preparing controls submittals with this information for use in the field, as well as by the customer / end-user
• Coordinating with other team members, such as Sales, Project Management, and Field Technicians, as well as other contractors and design engineers
• Adhering to, and helping maintain, engineering standards, templates, and documentation requirements

Requirements

Required:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Proficiency with Google Suite products
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written communication regarding technical and non-technical issues
• Ability to work well in a collaborative environment, as well as to perform work independently
• Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or other related field
• Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu software
• Previous experience with design and execution of service and construction projects

Anticipated Salary Range and Employee Benefits

• $60,000 - $70,000 annually
