Long Term RSP Substitute Teacher presso Magnolia Elementary

The Long Term RSP Substitute Teacher assignment will run from 11/14/25 - 01/30/26, Monday through Friday, regular school hours (dates subject to change at any time). The daily rate is based on the tier of $195, $200, $205, plus the additional $15 per day for acting as the teacher of record. Once the long term assignment concludes, the person hired will be placed on the regular substitute list for day-to-day assignments and other long term possibilities.

To apply for the position of Long Term RSP Substitute Teacher you must meet one (1) of the minimum requirements below: -CA Mild/Moderate Disabilities Credential w/EL Authorization -CA Mild to Moderate Support Needs Credential w/EL Authorization OR Be eligible to apply for a Short-Term Staff Permit (STSP) with one of the following requirements: -Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies OR -Verify a minimum of three years of successful full-time classroom experience with special education students OR -Verify the equivalent of three years of successful full-time experience in part-time experience with special education students (experience as an aide is acceptable) OR -Verify a minimum of nine semester units of course work in special education or in a combination of special education and general education

SALARY The daily salary ranges from $195-$205 daily. In addition to the daily rate, all long term assignments (serving as the teacher of record) will add an additional $15.00 per day. All School Readiness Preschool Teacher assignments will add an additional $10.00 per day.
