Inside the Role
The role of the support manager is to act as chief of staff and assist with the day to day operation of the Aftermarket Organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the Aftermarket Executive staff addresses high priority issues and strategic topics. You will represent the Aftermarket organization in various internal meetings, facilitating collaboration across groups and using your network to accomplish critical goals. You will serve as a communication hub for the Sr VP, both internal and external partners and organizations. You will work closely with OpCom Support Managers, establishing priorities and aligning messaging among DTNA’s executive team.The support manager role includes leading the Aftermarket project management office. You will be responsible for working with AMCom to set vision and strategy for the Aftermarket. You will lead a team to guide, track, and execute the success of Aftermarket’s strategic priorities. You will work with the corporate strategy team to ensure Aftermarket’s strategy is leading into the larger Go 2030 strategy.
You will ensure coordination across the SVP support team consisting of the PMO, the Aftermarket executive assistants & support managers, and the Aftermarket internal marketing team. You will set priorities and plan what support is needed for events to ensure the SVP is prepared for all engagements and the Aftermarket has an engaged and informed culture.
You will need to be creative, strategically adept, detail-oriented, and able to demonstrate the leadership skills necessary to perform the wide range of activities inherent in this crucial role.

What You Drive at DTNA
Lead and mentor project management specialist, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
Assign responsibilities, set clear objectives, promote professional development opportunities and provide regular feedback to ensure the success of your team
Responsible for governance of all Aftermarket strategic priorities
Define processes for strategic priorities governance, tracking and reporting
Ensure the Aftermarket strategy aligns with Go 2030 and DT2030
Define communication plan of the Aftermarket strategy to the entire department
Provide regular interface between the Aftermarket organization, the OpCom support network and other relevant areas to drive Aftermarket and DTNA goals and objectives and ensure cohesive messaging across DTNA’s executive team
Provide support to the SVP, Aftermarket in the operation of the organization
Own, prepare, and/or coordinate executive presentations for internal and external engagements for the SVP
Support and take part in Aftermarket events
Develop and manage Aftermarket executive staff meeting agenda to successfully address strategic topics and achieve goals
Develop prep documents for SVP’s meetings and engagements
Plan, forecast, and ensure budget compliance for the SVP-Aftermarket cost center
Set priorities and plan support for the SVP support team
Coordinate all Aftermarket communications with the Aftermarket internal marketing team
Drive initiatives to strengthen departmental culture by partnering closely with the Culture & Belonging team and the Aftermarket L2s, ensuring alignment with organizational values and fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment
Ensure the Aftermarket meets all compliance responsibilities and corporate audit requirements and deadlines
Lead special projects as assigned
Communication hub for SVP support team and AM L2s and larger Aftermarket Leadership Team (AMLT)
Knowledge You Should Bring
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college AND 6+ years of experience required
Demonstrated ability to create and drive strategies, work independently, and simultaneously manage multiple, changing priorities
Strong business acumen in order to understand, prioritize, and act on many request received. Experience in the Aftermarket as well as cross-functional experience in Engineering, Sales, Logistics, or Operations desired
Demonstrated ability to collaborate ad influence situation where no formal authority exists
Proven ability to organize highly complex topics
Excellent organizational skills and written and oral communication skills (languages, cultures, functions)
Ability to handle confidential and potentially sensitive information
Able to travel up to 20% of the time
