You Are:
A Functional Lead, you will be joining our Retirement and Personnel Sector and Converge Operations Team to own and drive operational efficiency of Converge Operations. You will drive internal operations with a focus on fund accounting and pricing activities across third parties and internal operations. You will partner cross-functionally with our Product, Technology, Analytics, and Compliance Teams in scoping and modernizing legacy pricing systems.
The Work:
- Develop strong, collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to strategically develop, implement and optimize operations processes, tools, and policies to achieve performance objectives while mitigating regulatory, reputational, and financial risk
- Celebrate excellent performance and empower your team to improve areas of opportunity
- Hire and train new team members as needed
- Partner with Technology Teams to support the modernization of our legacy pricing system and lend industry knowledge of accounting, pricing, and compliance to solutioning discussions
- Strengthen functional documentation of pricing systems and enhance accounting and pricing knowledge across the program
- Identify potential pricing and accounting issues daily in advance of communication with the client
- Identify opportunities for enhancement to existing pricing system to improve operational efficiencies, maintain compliance, and prevent operational issues. Justify proposed changes through forecasting the impact to client experience, regulatory/reputational risk, and operational expenses
- Help ensure our defined contribution operations are timely, accurate, and compliant
Here’s What You Need:
- 8+ years of financial services operational experience working with large defined contribution plans including significant exposure to one or more of the following areas: fund pricing, payroll, audit, accounting, policy and procedure oversight
- 5+ years of experience in defined contributions operations and accounting leadership
- 2+ of those years in a management role that included sourcing and hiring talent, scaling operations, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback to team members

- Ability to lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them
- Analyze, summarize, and communicate opportunities for improvement in a technically competent manner
- Ability to foster a cohesive and creative work environment with internal and remote teams and across multiple time zones
- Strong prioritizing and project management skills
- Ability to identify opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence
- Bring robust industry knowledge of accounting and pricing to the Federal retirement space
Security Clearance:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
$108,400—$203,400 USD
