Elementary Math Specialist Long-Term Substitute chez Lower Merion School District

Lower Merion School District is seeking an Elementary Math Specialist at Belmont Hills Elementary.

PA Certification in Elementary Education required.  Out-of-state educators should explore PA's reciprocity guidelines set by the PA Department of Education.  Pennsylvania Certification information is available at  https://www.education.pa.gov/Educators/Certification/OutOfState/Pages/default.aspx

Selected candidate will provide instruction to increase mathematics achievement for all students; collaborate with the student's teacher(s) to ensure that on-going instruction meets the student's individual mathematical needs. Knowledge of and experience with the PA Core Standards and Standards for Mathematical Practices.

Good standing relative to Act 48 credits.  Child abuse, PA State Police and FBI clearances (no less than one year from date of hire)

This is a long-term substitute position for the second semester of the 2025-2026 school year (January-June 2026).
