Contractor Assurance System Group Manager presso Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL)

 • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive CAS programs, policies, and procedures to comply with regulatory requirements and company standards. 

• Oversee and manage CAS assessments to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to CAS regulations and best practices.

 • Lead and mentor a team of CAS professionals, providing direction, support, and performance feedback. 

• Collaborate with various departments to integrate CAS considerations into business operations and decision-making processes. 

• Monitor and analyze CAS performance metrics and trends and develop strategies for continuous improvement. 

• Ensure timely reporting and communication of CAS incidents, non-conformances, and corrective actions to relevant stakeholders. • Stay current with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and industry standards, and communicate changes to the organization. 

• Coordinate and deliver CAS training programs to employees at all levels, ensuring awareness and understanding of CAS policies and procedures. 

• Promote a culture of quality, excellence, and continuous improvement through proactive engagement and education initiatives. 

• Serve as the primary point of contact for external regulatory agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders regarding CAS matters.

Minimum Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience (Contractor Assurance Systems, Business Management, Project Management, Operations, or Continuous Improvement) or Master’s degree and 6+ years of experience. 
• In-depth knowledge of CAS regulations, standards, and best practices, including DOE O 226.1B
•  Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•  Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to develop and implement plans for CAS programs.
• For ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, US Citizenship is Legally Required

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in CAS management or serving in a lead role preferred. 
• Active DOE Clearance. 
• Experience working in a National Laboratory.
