The Controls Engineer III is a key contributor to our supply chain division, driving the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical and automation systems. You will leverage your expertise to enhance business strategies, deliver innovative solutions, and play an instrumental role in improving efficiency across our network. This position offers the opportunity to influence supply chain operations and collaborate with dynamic teams, making a tangible impact on our company’s success.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Overseeing the design, development, and optimization of electrical control systems to support supply chain operations.
  • Implementing complex electrical and automation projects aligned with business objectives.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving electrical and automation system issues to maintain operational excellence.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and drive efficiency.
  • Staying current with industry advancements to ensure systems remain at the technological forefront.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to safety and compliance regulations in all engineering undertakings.
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including specifications and design drawings.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning.
  • Leading projects to optimize processes and mitigate risks within the supply chain.
  • Demonstrating creativity in problem-solving and the application of new technological solutions.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively complex experience in electrical controls and automation engineering.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in electrical design tools and relevant software.

What’s needed - Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in supply chain automation.
  • Certifications related to electrical controls and automation systems.
