We are seeking a passionate and experienced teacher to lead our microschool classroom. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a nurturing, student-centered environment from the ground up. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, flexible educator who enjoys designing engaging learning experiences tailored to each child’s needs.

Status: Full Time- In Person

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a 3:1 ratio class of up to six students (ages 5–10) with the support of a trained behavior therapist
• Develop and implement individualized and group curriculum
• Collaborate closely with BCBAs, RBTs, and families to support academic, behavioral, and developmental goals
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
• Maintain accurate progress data
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (required)
• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) ages 5-12 (required)
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field
• Experience in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) preferred
• Current RBT certification a plus (training and certification available)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Open to collaborating in a multidisciplinary team

In addition to the teaching role, candidates will have the opportunity to earn additional income by providing 1:1 ABA therapy sessions after school hours as well as on non operational school days (as per Broward county schools schedule), paid hourly.
