We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Innovation Department in Christiansburg, VA. This role is pivotal in overseeing IT projects from concept to completion—ensuring high-quality implementation, efficient use of resources, and timely delivery of key initiatives that align with our organization’s strategic goals.
The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator and organized leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, balancing technical insight with strategic vision. This is an in-office position located in Jacksonville, FL.
What You’ll Do
Develop and manage project plans using the WOZ ticketing system and Jira.
Oversee project progress, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support project goals.
Review contracts and recommend actions related to vendor and partner agreements.
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Generate ad-hoc reports and insights to support business needs.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree required; 6+ years of project management experience (IT project focus preferred).
Proficiency with Jira, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proven leadership and business acumen; ability to manage multiple priorities.
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and enthusiastic about continuous improvement.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute projects effectively.
