 Capitol Bridge Arlington VA is seeking a proactive and engaging Senior Benefits Administrator to join our team. The Senior Benefits Administrator is an individual contributor to the Benefits Team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, technical and operational efficiency of benefits- related processes across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. This role will serve as a key liaison between our various entities, providing a deep understanding of benefits regulations, reporting, compliance and communication with employees, management, and external vendors. This role will focus on process ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and technical benefits. This role requires a pro-active, yet detail-oriented professional with strong operational and technical skills to manage complex benefits systems, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance within an agile environment. 

Location: Onsite in Arlington, VA (or surrounding areas within a commutable distance)   

Pay and Benefits:  
Salary Range: $90,000-110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of health & welfare benefits for service contract act (SCA) and Non SCA employees (e.g., health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement plans)  

  • Own system administration of benefits-related functions within the HRIS system (e.g., eligibility rules, open enrollment rollover, EDI file feed discrepancies, compliance audits)  

  • Serve as the first line of support for troubleshooting data discrepancies and system malfunctions from HRIS system to carriers  

  • Partner with Finance and Accounting to ensure benefit costs are accurately allocated and reconciled against benefit invoices and enrollment data from internal HRIS system (e.g Paycom)  

  • Ensure proactive auditing, testing, and documentation to reduce recurring issues  

  • Partner with TPA, carriers and HRIS administrator to ensure alignment on configuration changes and system upgrades during open enrollment rollover  

  • Participate in benefits-related projects, such as open enrollment communications, focus groups, renewal negotiations, RFPs, and strategic well-being initiatives  

  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs 

Qualifications & Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university  

  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration and/or project management, preferably in a multi-entity environment 

  • Strong knowledge of benefits laws and regulations, including ACA, ERISA, and COBRA

  • Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems, particularly Paycom and Ameriflex

  • Excellent attention to detail, technical mindset and organizational skills  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite products including Excel  You may receive requests for background checks andor drug screening regarding this employment opportunity.
