Join our dynamic engineering team as an Intern to gain hands-on-experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of physical security systems. This internship offers a unique opportunity to collaborate on cutting-edge projects involving CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and intercoms. As a key member or our team, you will work closely with experienced engineers, contribute to project success, and expand your knowledge in the rapidly evolving field of physical security technologies.   

Requirements

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support System Design: Assist in physical security system projects, including CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and intercoms. Collaborate with the engineering team to complete assigned work and facilitate project completion. 
• Installation and Configuration: Participate in the installation and configuration of security equipment and devices. Work alongside experienced engineers to ensure proper system setup.
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting technical problems and system malfunctions as assigned. 
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including design changes, installation details, and troubleshooting steps. 
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, to support project goals. Communicate effectively with team members and clients as needed. 
• Learning and Development: Continuously learn about the latest physical security technologies and industry best practices. Attend training sessions and workshops to expand your knowledge and skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong interest in physical security systems and technologies. 
• Basic knowledge of security systems, hardware, and software is a plus. 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities. 
• Eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic.  

Additional Notes:

• Probationary period of 90 days. 
• Individuals with a felony or misdemeanor convictions MAY not be hired. 
• Individuals must not have any alcohol or drug-related convictions or suspensions within the past three years. 
• Individual must be able to read and understand instructions in English as well as possess good oral & written communication skills.  
• Individual must be able to pass a drug and physical screening as well as background requirements.
