Terros Health is pleased to share an exciting and challenging opportunity for an School-based Clinician in Children's Services working at our Stapley Dr. location in Mesa, AZ. This individual will be providing outpatient counseling services to children and their families. The individual will need to be professional, friendly, a self-starter, organized, and compassionate.

Terros Health is looking for professional and dedicated School-based Clinician for our Stapley Dr. Health Center!

 

Full-Time Employment

Location: 1111 S Stapley Dr #5060, Mesa, AZ 85204

 

Schedule: Mon-Fri, Full-time

 2 Days Per Week in Local Schools

 

$57,000+ for Associate Level Therapists

$70,000+ for Independent Licensed Therapists

 

***Weekly clinical supervision for associate level licensed staff***

***reimbursement for licensure and renewals***

Position Summary: Employee will serve as a Clinician at Terros Health, Supervised by the Clinical Coordinator. The Board of Directors and/or President and CEO may designate other activities as needed. This position is responsible for providing outpatient counseling services which may include assessments and counseling for children, adolescents, transition aged youth, families, and groups. Clinician will provide treatment for both mental health and substance use needs. Provision of services will occur out of the office in a school-based setting or other place of service such as a family’s home and could include office based as needed.  Travel is required for this position.

 

Essential Duties

 

  • Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Ability to translate knowledge into effective counseling methods.
  • Ability to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Seeks supervision/consultation as appropriate.
  • Treatment plans provide clear translation of needs into individual, achievable and measurable objectives.
  • Child and Adolescent Clinicians:  Involvement in CFTs, collaboration with child/family, contributes to ISP process.
  • Record keeping: Client’s charts are in compliance with required standards to include – progress notes are completed same day; progress notes reflect evidence-based treatment.

Qualifications


Education/Experience:

  • Master’s degree, i.e., MA, MS, MC, MSW, in behavioral health field, Arizona license or eligible for Arizona license.
  • Strongly preferred - One year of experience practicing in one of the licenses listed below.
    • Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT)
    • Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC)
    • Licensed Associate Addiction Counselor (LAAC)
    • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
    • Licensed marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
    • Licensed Independent Addiction Counselor (LIAC) by the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to establish professional working relationships.
  • Must have the ability to perform first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation as necessary and appropriate.
  • Training in DBT, or EMDR, or other Evidence Based Practice preferred
  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or apply for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card within 7 working days of employment.
  • Must have or obtain a valid Arizona Driver License, be 21 years of age with a minimum 4 years driving experience. Must meet requirements of Terros driving policy.
  • Must pass a TB test.
