Summary  

Responsibilities of this position include: to provide Quality Leadership, direction and hands-on involvement in the implementation of Quality System.  Provide shift oversight and leadership to Quality Assurance Staff involved in the production process.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Maintain ISO/TS 16949 quality management system (QMS) requirements for production, and when relevant automotive-related products 
• Verifies all EPC Team works safety and follow all DNA policy and procedures 
• Ensure employees receive training and understand all safety requirements and procedures related to their work.  Enforces personal protective equipment requirements 
• Drive the development of quality related policy deployment objectives. 
• Analyzing EPC defect quality and appearance policy are followed.   
• Drives data analysis of quality performance to identify high priority issues relating to safety, complaints and systemic customer satisfaction. 
• Responsible for leading all shifts of EPC inspection 
• Keep inventory daily and maintain a Priority List of EPC part numbers.  
• Helps cross training with any departments in regard to appearance compliance.  
• Verifies Packaging and labeling of EPC and Certified Material. 
• Organization and improvements to EPC work area. 
• Involvement of month end inventory management. 
• Performs Product Audits and provides feedback to affective departments.  
• Participate in Problem Solving events when ever needed.  

Skills and Experience 

• Successful record of managing people and dealing with problems internal issues. 
• Leadership experience (People development, written and verbal communications skills, action/results oriented, impact and influence) 
• Ability to effectively communicate and present at all levels and across the organization is required. 
• Excellent skills in managing subordinates and strong interpersonal skills are required 
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks/projects and manage priorities accordingly 
• Strong awareness of technical standards required in a regulated industry

Physical Work Conditions 

• Must be able to work in a hot environment 
• Must be able to lift and move aluminum wheels of varying weight 
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day 
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment when required
