From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.

As a benefits specialist for the Starbucks College Achievement Plan (SCAP), you will join an innovative and unique team that is relentless in their pursuit of helping partners unlock life-changing opportunity. The work you lead focuses on administering the SCAP program, addressing partner questions and feedback, effectively communicating program details and educating others about our benefits, managing projects and events that directly impact partners in the SCAP program and elevating challenges and successes with the goal of continuous improvement.

As a benefits specialist, you will…

  • Enhance partner experience, provide care and support directly to partners, ensuring they have access to and understand the benefit and eligibility criteria. Troubleshoot and problem-solve complex benefit situations.
  • Administer effective communications about the program. Manage processes, communications and tools to administer the SCAP benefit and ensure processes and procedures are documented and adhered to.
  • Partner with internal teams, third-party vendors and Arizona State University on SCAP benefit projects, communications, events, upgrades and changes. Support development, execute, and enhance project plans and program administration, drive assigned projects, create custom reports, and analyze trends to deliver an outstanding scholar and graduation experience.
  • Represent the SCAP program, building strong working relationships with a cross-functional group of Starbucks partners, Arizona State University employees and third-party vendors in support of the benefit, Starbucks culture, business needs, and budgetary goals.
  • Be a program advocate and support the understanding of program performance through data analysis and visualization, report creation, and insights development.
