Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced professional to lead and manage the team’s oversight and coordination of in cycle audits, recommend process improvements, and focus on operational excellence on a set of accounts within the Proof and Audit and Bridge teams in State Street’s Accounting division. The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with a focus in Accounting and audit oversight work of 6-8 years of related experience including previous experience managing staff.

What you will be responsible for
As Assistant Vice President you will
Responsible for the direction and operational oversight of a global staff. Typically works daily with a group of 5 to 8 employees.
Cultivates and maintains positive and effective relationships with clients, auditors, and coworkers.
Comprehend the scope of services offered to clients and reviews with the team; demonstrate technical expertise; ensure team meets all client deliverables and manages relationships of assigned clients.
Responsible for ensuring work is reviewed for client deliverables.
Assess operational effectiveness and make suggestions to streamline functions.
Ensure all controls/checklists and procedures are adhered to as well as make recommendations for improvement.
Lead in the resolution of client issues.
Escalate appropriately and timely to VP client issues or concerns that may impact client service and satisfaction.
Responsible for managing the implementation of all standard practices, processes, tools, etc. and initiatives and technology enhancements.

Salary Range:
$65,000 - $102,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
