Overall Purpose of the Job
Technical position supporting sales and operations for projects involving CORE Expandable Products using available technologies including coordination of all available resources domestically and internationally within the North & Latin America (NLA) region.
Key Activities and Accountabilities
- Promotes safety, service quality & environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Provides technical support to sales and operations within CORE Expandable Sub-Product Line of Coretrax.
- Works with sales representatives and customers to establish needs, specifications, and possible product modifications for sales opportunities.
- Reviews customer requirements, specifications and make recommendations for technical and commercial proposals.
- Answers technical questions about products for customers, sales personnel, and operations.
- Performs applications-specific analysis, calculations, modeling, and creates operational procedures for each planned installation.
- Informs customers of technological improvements and of the advantages to the customer of using the company’s products.
- Performs ETRACK investigations as required for operational problems and presents findings to customers in after-action reports.
- Remains on-call for operational support as required for troubleshooting during installations.
- Actively adheres to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro’s reputation is minimized. Provide leadership in all ethical issues; ensure employees are aware of Expro’s compliance requirements and feel able to report possible violations or conflicts of interest.
- Actively adheres to and ensures compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes & systems. Takes an active part in quality improvement processes. Acts on reported deficiencies and approves deviations from standard procedures as appropriate (MOC).
- All other related duties assigned by the supervisor / manager.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum 3 years industry experience preferred
- Must be proficient in computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Microsoft Visio desired
- Knowledge of oilfield calculations such as hydrostatic pressures, burst/collapse, surge/swab, and torque & drag preferred
- Understands and adheres to all Foreign Corrupt Practices Act regulations.
- Ability to work in an office, shop, or rig location as required
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport preferred
- Satisfactory results of pre-employment screening (ie drug/alcohol test, background check etc.)
