Job Title: Maintenance Parts Coordinator
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Starting Pay: $22 per hour depending on experience
What do Maintenance Parts Coordinators do at Pratt Industries?
Our Maintenance Parts Coordinators are crucial members of our Maintenance Department. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to efficiently maintain the machines that turn recycled paper into sheets of corrugated board!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Involved in controlling the inventory by receiving, issuing, returning, adjusting, and storing items
- Receive parts and kits for PM & manage min/max, add spare to inventory if required, maintain and update critical spare parts list, replenish inventory, cycle count, reconcile reports, receive parts in iMaint or SAP database, and verify inventory level and update iMaint.
- iMaint/SAP Database Expert:
- Update and schedule the WO’s in iMaint and tracker, receive parts in SAP or iMaint, create or update the parts pick lists in the tracker.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
- Frequently required to use hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- The employee is occasionally required to sit.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Mathematical Skills
Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to apply concepts of high school math.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
Work Environment
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- Frequently exposed to wet, hot, and/or humid conditions.
- Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
