The Child Crisis Arizona ORR Mesa Program is ready to hire a bilingual food service coordinator to join our team.
We are looking for compassionate, energetic, and dependable individuals who are committed to providing quality food and related services for all children in our care.
- In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation of multiple meals and snacks for children and staff. The food service coordinator will also ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen and pantry and assist with the planning, ordering, and inventory of foods and kitchen supplies. The food service coordinator shall adhere to the approved menu, and ensure compliance with licensing standards and the Maricopa Health Department.
Qualifications
To be considered you must have:
- Education must consist of a high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years experience in food preparation for large groups.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a food handler’s card or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.
- A clean five-year motor vehicle history and a valid Arizona Driver’s license.
- A level one fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs.
- Must be able to display verbal and written communication skills that meet the requirements of the position.
You are a star candidate if you have the above, and:
- Experience with the National School Lunch Program
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Previous experience as a food service coordinator in a shelter setting
