The Graphic Design program at Keene State College seeks a dynamic graphic design instructor to teach ART260 Graphic Design Thinking, an intermediate-level design course for the spring 2026 semester.
Course Description: Graphic Design Thinking is the second course in a three-course sequence dedicated to the study and practice of graphic design. Graphic Design Thinking builds upon the fundamental principles explored in the first-year core while reinforcing concept development, typographic hierarchy, design composition, and production skills. Students explore graphic design as an expressive, organizational, and informative medium to communicate client imperatives. Projects typically include, but are not limited to, layout, identity design, menus, album covers, sequences, information design, and more.
Our students come from diverse socio-economic and educational backgrounds, with a high percentage of first-generation college students. By the time Keene State College students complete their undergraduate experience, they develop critical thinking, creative inquiry, intercultural competence, civic engagement, and commitment to well-being that will serve them as active citizens and lifelong learners. We strongly encourage individuals to apply who will support the College’s ongoing efforts to help students become responsible global citizens.
