- Verify client/patient information is accurate
- Maintain Medical records
- Accurately count and fill prescriptions
- Communicate prescription instructions to external pharmacies
- Maintain inventory, stock, and tracking data on in-house medications
- Participate in cycle counts and troubleshoot discrepancies
- Stock medications in the pharmacy with correct labels and expirations
- Responsible for managing blood inventory
- Comply with regulatory agencies requirements
- Complete assigned projects
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician or experienced veterinary assistant preferred
- Work successfully as a team member and autonomously
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to be detailed oriented, quality focused and self-motivated
- Demonstrates sense of urgency
- Flexibility with work hours with the ability to work additional hours, weekends and holiday as necessary
