We are a global team of like-minded Med-Tech professionals focused on patient centric solutions in a collaborative environment leading to excellent outcomes. We have developed an advanced and unique heart failure therapy technology in the BrioVAD® Left Ventricular Assist System (LVAS). We are introducing the BrioVAD LVAS to Heart Failure clinicians for use with the large number of indicated and untreated patients who could benefit from chronic mechanical circulatory support. The initiation of our INNOVATE™ Trial in the US is only the beginning. We are building a team to develop advanced technology intended to further improve patient outcomes, increase therapy acceptance, and enabling chronic MCS therapy to be accessible to more patients across the globe.

 

Job Summary

BrioHealth Solutions is seeking a strategic and hands-on Compensation & Benefits professional to lead and continuously enhance our compensation, benefits, and performance management programs. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role will partner closely with senior leadership to ensure all programs are equitable, data-driven, and aligned with BrioHealth’s values, business strategy, and growth objectives.

The ideal candidate is analytical, pragmatic, and collaborative, capable of translating data-driven insights into scalable, compliant, and engaging programs that strengthen employee experience, retention, and organizational performance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, administration, and continuous improvement of BrioHealth’s compensation, benefits, and performance programs to ensure fairness, competitiveness, and compliance.
  • Manage annual merit, incentive, headcount budget, and performance cycles, including planning, calibration, and communication.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and senior leadership to ensure compensation and benefits strategies align with business priorities, pay transparency, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee compensation structures and benefits programs, including benchmarking, vendor relationships, renewals, and escalations.
  • Provide data-driven insights on pay equity, market competitiveness, and program effectiveness to inform strategic decisions.
  • Maintain clear policies, tools, and communications that promote understanding and engagement across the organization.
  • Stay abreast of legislative, regulatory, and market changes to ensure continuous compliance and program relevance.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or CCP/CBP/CEBS certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, or related total rewards functions, ideally within biotech, med-tech, or other high-growth industries.
  • Demonstrated success managing performance, merit, and incentive cycles from planning through execution.
  • Strong foundation in compensation design, benchmarking, and job architecture, including practical experience with Radford or comparable data sources.
  • Advanced analytical and Excel modeling skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Working knowledge of FLSA, ERISA, ACA, and pay transparency laws.
  • Exceptional communication, consultation, and stakeholder management skills; able to advise leaders and influence outcomes effectively.
