Business Systems Analyst

Job Location: Brea, CA

Job Summary: 

The core activities of the Business Systems Analyst typically involve bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions, with the least amount of wait time possible. They will be operating within the Proponent Lean methodology and core values. Here are some key tasks they might perform:

  • Requirements Gathering: Business systems analysts work closely with all kinds of stakeholders to understand their requirements, needs, and objectives for a particular change, project or application. This involves conducting interviews, workshops, and research to gather comprehensive requirements, and subsequent approval.
  • Analysis and Documentation: They analyze gathered requirements to identify patterns, trends, and potential issues. Then, they document these requirements in a clear and organized manner using techniques such as use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
  • Solution Design: Based on the gathered requirements, business systems analysts collaborate with technical teams to design appropriate solutions. They may propose system architectures, data models, and functional specifications that align with business objectives.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Business systems analysts act as intermediaries between business stakeholders and technical teams. They facilitate communication, clarify requirements, and ensure that all parties involved understand the project scope and objectives.
  • Testing and Validation: They participate in testing activities to ensure that the implemented solutions meet the specified requirements. This involves creating test cases, conducting testing, and validating that the system performs as expected.

  • 1+ year experience with Salesforce as end-user
  • Salesforce Certifies Administrator a plus
