Strategy Coordinator
The Strategy Coordinator supports the CEO and Senior Leadership Team by curating and developing the content that drives Publix Employees Federal Credit Union's (PEFCU) most important leadership and company-wide meetings. This role focuses on strategic messaging, agenda design, and material creation for events such as the Strategic Planning Session (SPS), Leadership Connect, Town Halls, and annual meetings.
The Strategy Coordinator owns the meeting content to ensure that presentations, agendas, and messages are cohesive, aligned with PEFCU’s vision, and consistent across audiences. This position connects strategy to communication, helping Executive Leaders tell a unified story that reinforces Publix Employees Federal Credit Union's purpose and direction.
What you will do…
Leadership Planning and Strategic Content Development
- Partner with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to define goals, key themes, and priorities for leadership and company-wide meetings.
- Shape agendas and storylines for major events such as PEFCU Purpose, Town Halls, Leadership Connect meetings, and Strategic Planning Sessions.
- Translate strategic direction into clear content and messaging for diverse audiences, including the Board, SLT, Vice Presidents, Directors, Managers, and associates.
- Consolidate outcomes from planning sessions into executive summaries, action plans, or key talking points.
- Develop structured agendas that keep discussions focused on outcomes and strategic alignment.
- Produce executive-level presentations, talking points, and briefings for leadership presenters.
- Design slide decks, handouts, and visual resources that reinforce strategic priorities and organizational goals.
- Ensure all materials are professional, brand-aligned, and visually cohesive across meetings and communication channels.
Message Alignment & Consistency
- Capture key themes, decisions, and action items from leadership sessions and translate them into clear, concise summaries.
- Maintain message continuity across leadership forums and enterprise-wide events to reinforce strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with the Communications Team to deliver timely follow-up messaging across internal channels that reflect and support senior leadership direction.
- Organize and manage a centralized library of presentations, summaries, and strategic materials for future use and alignment.
Strategic Coordination & Planning
- Work closely with the Executive Assistant to align timing, flow, and deliverables for leadership meetings and enterprise events.
- Drive the content planning process by scheduling brainstorming sessions to define goals, key messages, and required materials for each meeting.
- Establish and manage content timelines, including drafting deadlines, review cycles, and approval checkpoints to ensure accuracy and alignment.
- Coordinate content review sessions with key stakeholders to refine messaging and ensure clarity and consistency.
- Schedule run-throughs or practice sessions (when applicable) to prepare presenters and ensure strong delivery.
- Maintain focus on “what” is communicated (content, message, purpose) while partnering with the EA, who manages “how and when” logistics (timing, calendar, attendees).
- Anticipate upcoming needs and proactively prepare leaders with strategic talking points, summaries, and supporting materials ahead of deadlines.
What you need....
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a strategic or communications role preferred
- 4 years of relevant experience
- Ability to understand long-term goals, connect initiatives to strategy, and tell a compelling strategic story
- Skilled in crafting concise, high-impact messages for senior audiences
- Strong writing, presentation development, and narrative design
- Able to combine input from multiple leaders and align stakeholders
- Organizes complex workstreams, manages timelines, and executes with precision
- Exercises sound judgment, prioritizes, and escalates appropriately
- Can adapt to evolving priorities and navigate ambiguity
- Builds trust with executives and cross-functional teams
- Handles sensitive information professionally
- Strong executive writing, meeting summaries, talking points, storytelling
- Experience with slide development (PowerPoint/Canva), visual messaging, agendas, meeting purpose clarity, outcomes, timeline creation, meeting prep process, content workflows
- Experience working with executives, communications and marketing team, leaders from various areas, and Executive Assistant
- Excellent Microsoft Office Suite (esp. PowerPoint & Word), Teams, SharePoint, and Canva
- Ability to distill complex topics into clear messages
