Job Summary:

Installation & Service Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting systems such as drive-thru communication, security cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and access control. Technicians are responsible for managing job documentation, communicating with customers, and ensuring all systems are operational before job completion. They must follow standard operating procedures, escalate issues when needed, and maintain inventory accuracy.

The ideal candidate for this role is a technically skilled individual with a strong background in electronics or automation systems. They should be proactive, customer-focused, and capable of working independently while adhering to strict documentation and safety protocols. The ideal candidate is adaptable and enjoys solving problems in the field.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education

High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.

Experience

  • 2+ years in installation/service of low-voltage systems.

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration

None required at entry

Other

  • Strong troubleshooting skills; customer service experience; valid driver’s license; ability to use company tech tools and portals.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills (internet, mobile devices, email software).
  • Must have physical capability to lift and climb ladders.
  • Must follow all safety rules and wear proper PPE.

Job Duties

Essential Duties

  • Install and service March Networks, IP cameras, phones, and access control.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate issues beyond 1 hour.
  • Maintain inventory and complete change orders.
  • Communicate with customers and dispatch.
  • Upload photos and test results.

  • Travel to various customer locations across Florida and South Georgia, including overnight stays as required.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends as scheduled.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
