Role Responsibilities:

 

Leadership Accountabilities

  • Subject matter expert for Workday functionality across apps, reporting and integrations
  • Release planning for supported modules
  • Key contact for Functional Business Leads
  • Works with Functional Leads to build product roadmaps and enables business strategy through Workday functionality

 

Management of HR Technology Team

Manages team of Workday Configuration Specialists supporting multiple modules within Workday to include:

Interviewing and hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, compensation planning and work prioritization and support.

What is the work?

Management / Strategy:

  • Leads / manages Technology team to improve HR tech capabilities
  • Owns HR Technology Strategy and Roadmap
  • Partners with business to ensure technology capabilities are in support of business strategies
  • Owns HR Data security for HR systems
  • Ensures Data security is in alignment with Privacy and Data Security standards
  • Partners with Analytics team to ensure data is analytics-ready
  • Plans and coordinates system releases with all impacted parties to ensure adequate communication, change management and training of all stakeholders
  • Ongoing strategy for system training and user experience for all stakeholders
  • Ensures high standards for process efficiency, system utilization and user experience
  • Prioritizes work to meet goals of HR Technology Team
  • Applies understanding of HR Operations to determine future HR Technology projects
  • Maintains knowledge of HR technology initiatives company-wide; coordinates resources as necessary
  • Provides innovative, accurate solutions to solve internal and external HR system issues, problems, and enhancements
  • Collaborates with Digital Technology and/or Data Engineering teams to implement technology solutions
  • Researches / recommends technology solutions to support HR Technology processes
  • Maintains most current knowledge of HR technology trends and understanding of market vendors

 

What is your background?

  • A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
  • 7+ year of HR experience
  • 7+ years of experience leading people or teams
  • Experience in Workday
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale technology projects
