Job Title:Entry-Level Events Assistant
Location: Halifax, NS

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and coordination of various events
- Help create event timelines and checklists
- Support logistics, including venue selection, catering, and equipment rental
- Assist with marketing efforts related to events, including social media promotion and email campaigns
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all aspects of the event are executed smoothly
- Participate in site visits and venue inspections to ensure they meet event requirements
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data management tools
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
