Job Title: Production Operator I

Production Operator I Overview | B Shift:
Production Operator I will be responsible for driving and executing the day-to-day work of the production line while ensuring that quality and safety standards are met. Production Operator I continuously monitor the performance and efficiency of production equipment and communicate with the Line Leader about any line issues. 12 hour shifts 4-3 / 3-4
On 4: Sunday - Wednesday | Off 3: Thursday -Saturday
On 3: Sunday - Tuesday | Off 4: Wednesday - Saturday
Production Operator I Responsibilities:
- Communicate production information to Line Leader and fellow Operators
- Performs all duties in a safe, reliable and efficient manner as instructed by the Line Leader
- Verifies that the correct material is being consumed at the production line according to the Build of Materials
- Identify and record acceptable and defective products
- Assembles, inspects, and cleans solar modules per work instructions
- Operate and conduct continuous monitoring of automated machinery
- Perform continuity testing using a meter
- Connect cables and wires to complete assemblies and installation
- Perform basic quality auditing, testing, and troubleshooting functions to ensure product quality
- Clean machines, tools, and equipment
- Other duties or tasks as assigned by leadership.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and understand technical documents, manuals and instructions
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment to meet production targets and deadlines
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work overtime and/or flexible shift hours when required
