Description
Premier Pump & Power is a family-owned manufacturer of industrial pumps and energy solutions. We specialize in large, custom, portable pump packages, and our products are renowned for their performance, serviceability, and built-in quality. We proudly serve thousands of customers from our global headquarters in Vancouver, Washington and our new manufacturing factory in Houston, Texas.
We need someone who can set up and use powder coating equipment to apply coating to various parts and accessories. You will be responsible for material and parts preparation for the powder coating and/or painting of fabricated steel items through different techniques.
You will report to the Fabrication Supervisor
Responsibilities
- Prepare parts for coating and follow all principles and practices of powder coating application.
- Able to switch between different colors of powder for Powder Coating
- Preparation of enclosure parts for Powder Coating
- Manage powder coating equipment to ensure quality results
- Efficiently apply powder paint to parts with high quality finish
- Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment
- Perform other jobs within the department as needed by supervisor
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of powder coating experience
- 1+ years of sandblasting experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis and 10 lbs. frequently
