- Performs preventative maintenance inspections and service on machines
- Assists moving furniture, equipment, and replacing worn or damaged parts
- Detects, reports and repairs improper machine operation and faulty equipment
- Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies
- Operates standard maintenance tools in accordance with departmental and safety policies and procedures
- Reads and understands general concepts of mechanical and electrical schematics
- Effectively utilizes the CMMS to complete assigned duties and tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Preventative Maintenance tracking systems (CMMS)
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Knowledge of HVAC and refrigerant systems
- Ability to properly utilize a variety hand and power tools
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical schematics
- Strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and cultivate relationships with others
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Preferred Experience with fabrication and welding, highly desired
- Knowledge of programmable controllers and associated software, a plus
- Supports troubleshooting related to systems Certified in LOTO program
- Supports and maintains Food Safety and Quality programs
- Follows and performs emergency procedures regarding power failures
