Schedule: 10-hour days | 8 Days On / 6 Days Off
Location: Grande Prairie Area (Local Hire – No Camp)

About the Role:

A Pipeline Operator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the flow of materials through pipelines in a safe and efficient manner. in the Grande Prairie AB area

Key responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor pipelines to ensure safe and efficient flow of materials
• Inspect pipelines and perform regular maintenance and repairs as required
• Monitor and control flow and pressure levels in pipelines
• Communicate with other operators and team members to ensure effective pipeline operation
• Respond to emergency situations and take appropriate action
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior experience in pipeline operations or related field preferred
• Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Proficient in the use of computers and technology
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check and drug screening

Working conditions:

• Work may be performed outdoors in all weather conditions
• May be required to work in confined spaces or at heights
• Must follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
• May be required to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
