Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
• Produce 100% defect free parts and minimize scrap.
• Operate and monitor different types of machinery and equipment efficiently to reduce cost.
• Operate lathe and cold heading machinery (dept. specific)
• Operate Komatsu/Minster stamping equipment (dept. specific)
• Make minor adjustments to machines per work instructions document and after training.
• Visually inspect and compare parts with gauges for quality and document results.
• Move pans of parts onto pallets and use various material handling devices to move products.
• Maintaining machinery and work area clean.
• Complete production documentation and reports.
• Report malfunctions to appropriate staff.
• May be required to operate and drive forklift and operate a hoist.
• Perform all 5s responsibilities required.
Must be able to work any shift and or overtime when required
