Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented custodian to join our team at a local school in Whitestown, Indiana. This part-time evening position is perfect for someone who takes pride in keeping spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. Please note: this position follows the school calendar-when school is not in session, custodial services are not required.
Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Refill supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels)
- Perform light-duty cleaning in classrooms, offices, and hallways
- Follow safety procedures and cleaning protocols
Requirements:
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team and stay on schedule
- Dependability and attention to detail
- Must pass a background check
- Must be 18 Years of age
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a valid Drivers license
