We are seeking a Service Operations Billing Analyst to join our team, with a primary responsibility to support our client base and billing team with preventive maintenance, vendor, and ancillary charges. This candidate ideally has experience working with data validation and close attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Review HVAC survey submissions, services and vendor invoices to validate data and set up sites in proprietary software.
  • Investigate discrepancies using all available resources, populate attributes to track issues.
  • Work closely with adjacent teams to facilitate error resolution and drive process improvements.
  • Coordinate unenrollment/opt outs along with monitoring new deals and updating weekly notification log.
  • Understand our Energy Management Outsourcing Agreements while ensuring all pertinent language matches sites, working to upload missing values when applicable.
  • Ensure the satisfaction of clients by providing Ad-Hoc reports & supporting documents along with investigating billing and payment errors and reconciling accounts.
  • Actively participate in process improvement including but not limited to: Reporting, Validation tests, System enhancements.
  • Create, review, and approve Budderfly PM & Ancillary invoices, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 4-year college degree preferred.
  • Previous related work experience with knowledge of accounting concepts and data validation.
  • Experience in the Energy or HVAC industry strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management; problem solving, project management and follow through skills are critical.
  • Driven to create and improve processes to create a positive impact within an organization.
  • Proficient in using MS Excel to combine and analyze data including using functions such as: XLOOKUP, SUMIF, Nested Formulas.
  • Strong client facing orientation with the ability to interface with all levels within organization.

Compensation Range: $66,000- $70,000 based on factors including level of experience, skillset and qualifications. 

Location: Hybrid with Tuesday - Thursday in Shelton, CT office.
