Under direct supervision, responsible for assisting in programming and analyzing databases.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the design, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing databases in a server environment.
- Designs, writes, tests, and debugs database stored procedures and simple queries to extract, calculate or manipulate information.
- Assists in creating database mappings to transform data from multiple systems developing and maintaining integrations between database systems.
- Works with departments to understand data collection, storage, and reporting needs for new systems.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Fundamental knowledge in common database operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel along with a solid understanding of charts and pivot tables, macros and data functions.
- Proficiency in relevant database software and tools.
- Strong analytical skills to resolve complex issues.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
