Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level Event Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to assist in planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events, from corporate meetings to community outreach programs. As an Entry-Level Event Specialist, you will work closely with our experienced event planners, gaining hands-on experience in the event management process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of events from concept to completion
- Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, and transportation
- Support marketing efforts through social media promotion and outreach
- Maintain event budgets and track expenses
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to fulfill event requirements
- Create and distribute event materials, including invitations and programs
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
