Summary, Job Description, and Qualifications


Job Title:            Associate Director of Performance Assessment and Opportunity Review  (PAOR) 

Reports To:        TVN Family Services Senior Director of Child Welfare Best Practices 

Direct Reports:  None 

FLSA Status:      Exempt, Administrative     


   

Summary:

The PAOR Associate Director assists the TVN Family Services Senior Director of Child Welfare Best Practices in promoting excellence and continuous quality improvement in the TVN Family Services program. The position oversees training and compliance with managed care contractual requirements and evaluates outcomes in alignment with child welfare standards.  

 

Essential Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates internal compliance and quality reviews for the TVN Family Services program. Evaluates documentation quality and compliance on a monthly basis 

  • Creates and Updates policies, procedures and practices in alignment with best practices OAC, ORC and contract. 

  • Works with supervisory and caseworker staff to coordinate, implement and maintain compliance with external standards and regulations; Oversees completion of Performance Improvement Plans and Corrective Action Plans.  

  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert for CFSR standards. 

  • Coordinates activities necessary for the completion of audits, accreditation and fidelity reviews by external entities 

  • Oversees compliance with staff training and credentialing requirements in collaboration with TVN standards, OAC, ORC. 

  • Facilitate monthly meetings with TVN Family Services supervisors for training, consultation, and feedback; Develop various training to facilitate TVN compliance with all legal standards 

  • Ensures the completion of reports affiliated with various surveys and/or data: outcome measures, client satisfaction surveys, etc. 

  • Oversees Utilization Management; Collects, analyzes and reports out program data to inform value-based decision making 

  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • A minimum of 5 years of child welfare experience; Experience in Quality Improvement and Compliance preferred 

  • Be culturally competent or responsive with training and experience necessary to manage complex cases. 

  • Ability to use a computer; proficiency in Word and Electronic Health Record (EHR).   

  • Valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintains a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing The Village Network with vehicle insurance.   

  • Willingness to travel for various reasons, mainly during the day but occasionally overnight.  Ability to visit clients’ homes (may or may not be handicapped accessible).  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong teamwork and organization/time management skills. 

  • Maintain a HIPPA compliant home-based office space when/if remote work is approved 

 

Physical Demands: 

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.  

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, computer printer, etc.  

  • Ability to communicate (oral and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company 

  • Ability to handle bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, reaching, and walking for periods of time. 

  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds independently
