Title: Fleet Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:
Prairie Farms Dairy, Battle Creek operates as a dairy manufacturing plant and distribution center that covers the whole state of MI and some of the surrounding states. We make dairy products that are then distributed to retail outlets, warehouses, hospitals, correctional facilities, retirement homes, food service warehouses, schools and colleges throughout Michigan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as fleet/maintenance related Supervisor or Manager
- Will consider military experience working on diesel engines
- Strong computer skills - use of MS word and excel for report writing
- Leadership skills - managing 4-6 technicians who directly report to you
- People skills - coaching and working with your team
- Able to work 1st shift / starts at 5am
- Need to have a strong understanding of diesel repair for coaching and working on the trucks as needed
Qualifications – Preferred:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification
- T3 Drive.
- T4 Brake.
- T5 Suspension and Steering.
- T6 Electrical/Electronic.
- T7 HVAC Systems.
- ASE T2 Diesel Engine.
- ASE T Master Certified.
