Suburban Hospital is a 228-bed, Level II Trauma Center, and a community-based hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. Suburban Hospital is a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine and has served Montgomery County and the surrounding area for more than 65 years. The designated trauma center for Montgomery County, Suburban Hospital, is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and has earned ANCC Magnet Recognition for nursing excellence.

 

Required Licensure and Certifications:

  • Current Maryland license from MBOP
  • Current ATLS certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery
  • Serves as a liaison between the Trauma PAs and the TPD/TMD
  • Supports the work of the TPD/TMD in the Trauma Program Performance Improvement, Education and Research activities 
  • Reports to the Trauma Program Director and Medical Director of Trauma Services

Salary Range: Minimum 60.89/hour - Maximum 94.89/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
