Job Profile Summary
The Vice President of Practice Management leads a strategic business overseeing a portfolio of digital products with varying levels of maturity across geographies, driving enterprise-wide consulting initiatives, client success, and revenue growth. This executive role is responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of consulting services, fostering innovation, and building high-performing teams that deliver exceptional value to clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Define and execute the strategic direction of the practice aligned with corporate goals.
- Lead transformation initiatives and drive innovation across consulting offerings.
- Operate with a general management mindset, balancing strategic and tactical priorities.
- Support M&A onboarding, executive escalations, and enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance implementation and operational efficiency.
Client & Market Engagement
- Cultivate executive-level relationships with key clients and industry leaders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to financial institutions, guiding them through complex challenges.
- Represent the company at major industry forums, regulatory panels, and thought leadership events.
- Translate technical capabilities into client value through deep understanding of services and product architecture.
Business Development & Growth
- Drive top-line growth through strategic partnerships, new market penetration, and expansion of existing accounts.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
- Oversee proposal development, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations for high-value engagements.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure delivery excellence across all engagements, maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
- Align platform and infrastructure investments with service delivery goals.
- Oversee implementation, migrations, and support functions with technical oversight.
- Manage cross-product strategy and ensure alignment with enterprise goals.
Financial & Operational Acumen
- Own the portfolio’s P&L, including direct PS revenue and operating expenses.
- Conduct margin analysis and implement cost optimization strategies.
- Lead budget planning, resource allocation, and investment shaping to support growth and profitability.
People Leadership & Influence
- Build and lead a diverse, high-performing leadership team.
- Inspire and motivate teams in dynamic and challenging environments.
- Coach and mentor solution leaders to align with OKRs and drive performance.
- Foster collaboration across solution teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Resolve friction and manage conflicts with professionalism and empathy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree: advanced degree (MBA, JD, etc.) preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in digital experience product leadership, financial services, consulting, or related industries.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale consulting practices or business units.
- Deep expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, and financial institution operations.
- Exceptional executive presence, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively (50%+).
