Description
The Commercial Laundry Supervisor will supervise West Central Linen day shift staff. This position also is responsible for daily oversight of regulatory standards, financial stewardship of department operations, be involved with customer concerns and maintenance decisions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervises the necessary resources needed for the West Central Linen and makes recommendations to hiring, promoting and annual staff performance reviews.
- Performs quality improvement initiatives under direction of Manager. Conducts rounding activities to ensure environmental hygiene in all areas assigned. Prepares necessary reporting to manager(s) and document results.
- Help create employees schedules.
- Address safety concerns, work with staff on the concerns.
- Learn delivery routes, and driver as substitute as need.
- Work with Manager on day to day linen poundage.
- Be involved in ordering supplies and doing an inventory level with supplies.
Hours/Shifts
80 hours biweekly, day shifts
Compensation
Hourly Wage Range: $26.89 - $34.42. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required.
- Must be able to attend the work site as scheduled.
- Require boiler certificate, or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- 1 year in supervisory level experience managing staff preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members and management.
