Description

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Day Porter to maintain the cleanliness, functionality, and professional appearance of our corporate facility during business hours. The ideal candidate will ensure that common areas are tidy, supplies are stocked, and minor maintenance issues are addressed promptly, contributing to a welcoming and productive work environment. 

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, break rooms, and conference areas throughout the day

• Monitor and restock restroom and kitchen supplies (e.g., soap, paper towels, toilet paper)

• Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or reporting larger issues to facilities management

• Empty trash bins and recycling containers regularly

• Clean up spills and respond to minor emergencies (e.g., leaks, messes)

• Assist with meeting room setups and breakdowns as needed

• Ensure entrances and high-traffic areas remain clean and presentable

• Provide courteous customer service to employees and visitors

• Collaborate with janitorial and maintenance teams for larger tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in custodial or facilities support preferred
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
