General Summary of Job Duties: The Table Games Trainer will be responsible for training, developing, delivering, and maintaining a comprehensive training program for all Table Games Dealers and Floor Supervisors. This position ensures that all team members perform in compliance with company policies, gaming regulations, and service standards, while promoting a culture of excellence, integrity, and teamwork. Must have dealt all games including Craps, to provide the proper hands – on experience needed to teach experientially and gain the team member’s trust.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain a high standard of guest service by modeling and teaching proper service techniques.
- Exhibit a positive and professional attitude when interacting with team members and guests.
- Protecting the assets by ensuring that all training reinforces accuracy, procedural compliance, and game integrity.
- Develop, implement, and update training materials for all table games, ensuring consistency with compliance policies and gaming regulations.
- Instruct and develop new and existing dealers and supervisors to ensure proficiency in dealing procedures, game protection, and guest service.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance performance to identify strength and areas for improvement.
- Apply extensive knowledge of dealing procedures, house rules, and game variation to maintain the security and integrity of all table games.
- Coordinate with management to ensure training aligns with department objectives and operational needs.
- Maintain accurate training records and certificate documentation.
- Verify that all training materials and procedures comply with gaming laws, company policies, and internal controls.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding training progress, performance issues, and development opportunities.
- Interview and audition all qualified applicants.
- Onboarding new hires by facilitation training and initial skills assessment.
- Support a work environment that promotes teamwork, mutual respect, and employee engagement.
- Stay current with industry trends, game updates, and regulatory changes to ensure training content remains relevant.
- Able to work flexible hours to observe and train on other shifts if necessary.
- Perform other duties assigned to support the success of the Table Games Department.

Qualifications

- Must be able to perform simple math.
- Must have knowledge of all games.
