Description

Essential Job Functions:

• Work from production orders, specifications, blueprints, diagrams, written and verbal instructions, and standardized methods to assemble electronic components and devices, including circuit boards
• Check order for options; visually check parts and materials. Position, secure, mount, fit, install assemblies as prescribed
• Perform operations to product specification requirements
• Use of various tools. Use of measuring devices and electronic meters for adherence to specifications
• Check installed parts for proper fit and alignment; proper positioning and correct electrical specifications. 
• Make appropriate adjustments
• Work with Engineering / R&D to create new assemblies, as requested
• Perform duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Manitowoc Code of Conduct requirements
• Exercise proper care in the use and storage of tools, equipment, and materials. Detect and report faulty equipment, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision

Job Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience
• Blueprint reading
• Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment

Working Conditions:

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Typically requires standing and/or walking for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Manual dexterity in hands for tool usage
