Job Summary

Position requires the ability to maintain excellent records of duties performed and equipment test results. Must be able to follow workplace safety policies and stand for an entire shift. Prefer someone with prior experience in the repair shop of a ski/snowboard retail store, but will train the right candidate. Must be at least 18.

Current technician and rental binding certifications (training provided)

Days:

Varies, including weekends and holidays as needed

Hours:

Varied, including early mornings and evenings as needed 

Core Responsibilities

•   Tune skis/boards (by hand or machine)
•   Repair damaged skis, boots, poles, and etc.
•   Mount and re-mount bindings and adjust in accordance with manufacturer standards
•   Test boot and binding systems for proper operation
•   Maintain a clean and safe working environment
•   Serve as an information source for guests
•   Handle and accept responsibility for large sums of money
•   Quote rates and give accurate information to resort guests
•   Other duties as assigned by management 

This position continues through our winter season only, mid-November through mid-March.
