AVAILABLE POSITION – LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER

Location – New Ulm High School, 1600 Oak Street, New Ulm, MN

Qualifications –

Experience with behavior intervention and management strategies.
Experience with social skills instruction and interventions.
Knowledgeable in multi-tiered systems of support.
Ability to organize and carry out individualized programs for students.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team to collect and analyze data.
Ability to communicate with parents and colleagues.
Ability to train and guide paraprofessionals.

MN Special Education Teacher License required with a desired emphasis in ASD, ABS, DCD, SLD or EBD. Teacher will work with high school students grades 9 - 12 and manage a caseload.

Start Date – Approximate time frame January 5 - June 5, 2026

Compensation Package – Position Classification BA1 offers a starting wage of $266.62 per day, based on experience. This position does not offer a benefit package.
