HAPO is now accepting applications for an Information Security Analyst III. We are seeking an individual who is ambitious, self-motivated and who strives to represent HAPO’s core commitment “Be in the Moment” and deliver service that will “Defy Expectations. Ideal candidates will have advance knowledge of Windows Operations Systems and working knowledge of Linux Operation systems. They will have strong critical and analytical thinking skills and be independent learners.  Candidates will be comfortable with basic programming and scripting languages. Excellent communication and writing skills are required.

 

Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to: 

  • Serve as a resource for questions related to monitoring and event response processes.

  • Review monitoring procedures and response playbooks.

  • Staying current with information security threats, trends and tactics.

  • Conduct vulnerability scans according to schedule.

  • Design and plan phishing campaigns with the involvement of Level I and II analysts.

  • Show proficiency in FFIEC Cyber Assessment Tool requirements along with NIST 800-53, and CIS Top 20 Security Control elements.

  • Assist in developing configuration standards and best practices.

  • Assist in conducting information security risk assessments.

  • Assist in designing vulnerability scans.

  • Assist the Information Security Officer with developing and maintaining information security policies.

 

Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.


Location: On-Site Richland (WA) with the possibility of hybrid remote schedule

Schedule: Must be able to work 35-40 hours a week between the hours of 8:30am – 6:30pm M-F *This position may require responses to critical alerts outside of normal business hours and the ability to work on weekends and afterhours when necessary, under the direction of the Information Security Officer.


Starting Hourly Pay Range (DOE): $38.64 – 48.30+ 
*Typically, Selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint range, based on applicable experience and qualifications.
