Able to balance speed and rigor, pivot directions, and seek solutions in creative ways. Don’t shy away from diving into the details to drive tough decisions forward.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and visual storytelling) to influence and align cross-functional teams.
Confidence in presenting and articulating design strategies to partners at all levels, including senior leadership.
Strong organizational and project management skills, able to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and keep multiple initiative moving forward.
Exceptional visual, interaction, and prototype design skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to mentor and foster an inclusive, empowering environment for designers to do innovative and impactful work.
Preferred Accessibility Design Skills:
Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities.
Understanding of applying WCAG conformance criteria in design, specifically testing comps, wireframes, and prototypes for accessibility standards.
Accessibility certifications CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or ADS from the IAAP preferred.
